About

RMBC HISTORY

In 1939 a Sunday School was started in the upstairs of Woodman Hall by George Hires, Allan Hires, and two young missionaries, Walter Bryen and Bill Orr. Under the leadership and direction of Walter Bryen assisted by Dr. Arthur Allen, Rocky Mountain Baptist Church was organized and incorporated August 26th, 1955 with 15 charter members. The present facilities were dedicated in September 23rd, 1979 under the direction of Pastor, Paul C. Leslie.

Rocky Mountain Baptist Church is an independent Baptist Church located in Ennis, MT. Nestled in the middle of Madison Valley we are in view of some of the most magnificent works of God’s creation. The wide open expanses of sky, beautiful Rocky Mountains, flowing Madison River, and abundance of wildlife are present all around us and reminders of our Creator’s beautiful palette.

The small town feel of Ennis is attributed significantly to our 1,000 person population but also to the laid back, friendly demeanor of our residents. Our church family is comprised of locals as well as “snow birds” who attend during their residence in the summer months.

Visitors are welcomed and encouraged at RMBC and we would love to have you join us this week!
